Booker boasts nearly 25 years of coaching experience at the high school,collegiate and international levels. Prior to joining the Cavaliers,he spent the 2005-06 academic year as an assistant coach at Temple University.
Booker’s coaching career began at the University of Turobo,located in Cagus,Puerto Rico,from 1987-89. He spent seven years at the University of Pennsylvania from 1990-97.
Booker served six years at the high school level coaching at Roman Catholic High School from 1997-2000 and at Coatesville High School from 2000-03. In 2003-04,he returned to the Division III level at Ursinus College.
Booker’s coaching experience has reached the international stage. Prior to the 1992 Summer Olympic Games,he helped in the development of medal winners Tony Dees and Jack Pierce in the 110m hurdles.
As a student-athlete at California State University at Los Angeles,Booker finished fourth at the 1982 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track &Field Championships.
