Coach and encourage athletes to train for the upcoming Cross-Country meets in October and November. This position works closely with the site coordinator at the schools or Parks and Rec office.
Length of Commitment:
September - November (All materials and training will be provided.)
Time Involvement: 3-4 hours per week
Supervising and conducting Cross-Country practices and competitions safely.
Teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, cooperation, dedication, commitment, and other healthy lifestyle character messages from our program.
Conditioning athletes appropriately for Cross-Country competition.
Monitoring athletes' attendance and personal conduct.
Responding to player injuries with approved first aid equipment.
Role modeling appropriate behavior.
Assists with meet-day preparation.
Serves as a role model for team members.
